If we have your vehicle, here's how to get it back - or pick up your belongings. Check what you need below, then set up a time. We don't take walk-ins.
You need an appointment. We can only confirm one after all three steps are done.
Have the last 6 digits of your VIN ready. Once we have the release from your lien holder, the office will confirm your time and send you the pickup location and address.
We keep recovered vehicles in secure storage at our Brooklyn and Staten Island locations. The address is in your appointment confirmation - please don't come before you get it.
A valid government-issued photo ID. The name has to match the loan, or the authorization from your lien holder.
Your lien holder must send us the release before your appointment. Check with them that it went out.
Your confirmation has the pickup location and address and your time on it. Bring it with you.
Bring the keys to the vehicle, if you have not already surrendered them.
All fees are due at the time of redemption in exact cash, if applicable.
You don't have to redeem the vehicle to collect what was inside it. We list and lock up everything we take out of a recovered vehicle - a personal-property appointment is a separate, simpler process.
